Lead Preschool Teacher
Hello, I'm Amy Raymer, one of the Lead Preschool Teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I am originally from, Orange County and now reside with my husband, Tyler and daughter, Cora in Oceanside. My two year old daughter attends Carlsbad Country Day and she absolutely loves it!
I moved to San Diego in 2007 to study Child and Family Development at San Diego State. I graduate in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and have been working in the field ever since. I was awarded my Site Supervisor Permit through the state of California in 2011 and also have an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. My passion and love for teaching started at a young age and I am happy that I was able to turn that excitement into a career I love.
In my free time, my family and I love to go to the beach, spend time with our two dogs, travel to the desert to ride our dirt bikes and spend quality time together. I am excited to meet your children and so grateful to be a part of this wonderful teaching team!
