Clarissa Zinna
Lead Preschool Teacher
Hi! My name is Clarissa Zinna. I was born and raised here in beautiful San Diego. I am excited to be a preschool teacher here at Carlsbad Country Day School.
I have an Associate's Degree in Early Child Development and Bachelors in Human Development with emphasis on Children Services. I have been working with preschool and school age children for about 6 years now and absolutely love the field. Being a teacher is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have.
I also love being outdoors and living a healthy lifestyle; working out, hiking, biking, camping, playing softball, surfing, and paddle boarding. I love to travel, go to concerts (country music holds a special place in my heart), hanging with family and friends, cooking, and scrapbooking.
I have developed a passion working for children and couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I love spending time learning and exploring with all my children. Their smiles and laughter make me happy every day. I look forward to helping your child learn and grow in this wonderful environment.
