Lead Preschool Teacher

Hi, my name is Lauren Crutchfield and I am one of the Lead Preschool Teachers at Carlsbad Country Day School. I recently moved to Oceanside from Sacramento and I am so excited to be a part of this community. I have worked with children of all ages in many different settings for over 10 years. However, my passion is with children under the age of six. They are so eager to learn and the joy that each child experiences when they figure out something new, makes me so grateful to be a part of their learning process. I feel truly blessed to be able to work at CCDS.

I have my Associates Degree in Social and Behavioral Studies and am currently working on earning my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. I studied abroad in England for a semester and found a love of travel that I take advantage of as often as I can. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, dancing, and trying new restaurants. I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
