Ashley Castaneda

Lead Preschool Teacher

Hi my name is Ashley Castaneda. I am so excited to be a part of the Preschool program here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I will be taking the new two year old group that will be transitioning into the preschool program. I have had the pleasure of working with a few of the children in the toddler room for the past few months. I am so eager to be able to meet your children, and help them grow.

I was born and raised in Oceanside and I am thrilled to call myself a San Diego native. I attended Cal State San Marcos, and received my bachelors degree in liberal studies with an emphasis in education. I have always known from an early age that I wanted to work with children, and I am so pleased to be a part of an amazing school like Carlsbad Country Day School.

On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a three year old son who currently attends Carlsbad Country Day School; he absolutely loves it here, and has learned so much! I look forward to helping your children grow and learn!
