Lead Infant Toddler Teacher
My name is Ms. Alejandra, I normally go by Ms. Ale. I am one of the Toddler Teachers here at Carlsbad Country Day School. I am from a small city in the Valley. Right before I moved out here I came from Fresno, CA. In 2013 I graduated from CSU Fresno with my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and a minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Marriage Family Child Counseling.
Before working with toddlers, I was a pre-kindergarten teacher for two years. I absolutely love working with young children. It amazes me how quickly they learn the material presented to them. Seeing them grow physically and developmentally within a matter of months keeps me motivated. They are like little sponges!
On my free time I like to hang out with my boyfriend Brent. I enjoy spontaneous road trips and going back home to visit my family.
Fun Facts: I absolutely enjoy eating great food. I also like to listen to music and especially love attending concerts! My favorite color is green and I make sure I drink at least one smoothie a day =)
